It showed a respectful silence after the statement of independence of Catalonia, but the FC Barcelona has decided to go back to raise the voice in front of the attitude that is taking the Spanish Government in the resolution of the conflict. This same Thursday there has been new decisions, that have motivated an official communiqué of the Barcelona group.
It treats of a measure cautelar taken by the National High Court, that has decreed prison for Oriol Junqueras, ex vice-president of the Generalitat and seven of his ex advisers in the Govern. The judge instructor of the case, Carmen Lamela, has concluído that his links with presumptive crimes of sedition, rebellion and malversación of public discharges was sufficient to give the order.
In front of this decision, the Barça has wanted to manifest the following:
"The FC Barcelona regrets the imprisonments dictated today by the National High Court, and expresses his solidarity with the affected and his families".
"The FC Barcelona considers that performances like these do not contribute to build the ways of the dialogue and the respect that always have defended like entity".
"In front of the excepcionalidad of the current situation, andl FC Barcelona does a call to the serenity and reiterates, once again, his commitment with the freedoms and the democratic values, to build bridges that help to resolve this conflict of way consensuada, peaceful and political".
I hammered, with Kilian Jornet
The one who also has pronounced in this regard it has been Gerard Hammered, that has opted by retuitear a message of the skier and Catalan highland runner Kilian Jornet, that in English expressed also his disagreement: "When the fault of political capacity does that the repression and imprisonment use for silenciar ideas, the fault of democracy does evident".
