The Barça receives the seen well to initiate the urbanisation of the surroundings of the Camp Nou

The FC Barcelona goes on with the ambitious project of the Espai Barça, with which pretends to renew and improve all his sportive installations. From his set up in 2018, the Barcelona have gone adding advances in his conversations with the City council of the City Condal, and this week produced a new understanding between both parts.

The club informed the past Saturday of the seen well of the consistory for the urbanisation of the surroundings of the Camp Nou, with the initial approval of his plans to renew the included terrains in his new sportive complex. The announcement confirmed it the deputy mayor and councillor of urbanismo, Janet Sanz, and also the managerial attendant of the Espai Barça, Jordi Moix.

The Catalan entity will invest 28 million euros more VAT in rehabilitating more than 111.000 square metres, with the aim to delete urban barriers and generate an open space and with eases that repercutirán so much in the viewers as in the citizens in general.

The Barça pretends to delete the fences and throw them off balance that they separate the Camp Nou, the Miniestadi and the Palau Blaugrana and join the three key pieces of his project in an only space that will integrate in the neighbourhood of the Maternitat i of Sant Ramon and will have greater continuity and lace with the rest of public buildings, spaces viales and green that surround it.

Between the points of the plan include the modification of the outline of several of the streets that surround the complex to connect better the installations and improve so much the traffic filmed like peatonal. Besides, it foresees a widen of the footpaths that surround the Camp Nou, the inclusion of lanes bike and of more green zones in all the sector to reform.

The Espai Barça, a project on a long-term basis

The work in the dispatches follows concretising advances for a project on a long-term basis of the Barça, whose ending aims to 2024. Further of the different plans of performance, will ensure that the works do not influence in the sportive activity of the club, adapting the relative commitments to the different sections that will see affected by this reform.
