The Barça confirmed the night of this Friday the demise of the "speaker" of the Camp Nou also known like "the voice of the Camp Nou", Manel Vich. It treats of a historical person for the club as it was in his charge from the years 60 until the actuality. So much the club like the same president of the entity, Josep Maria Bartomeu, used his official account of Twitter to announce this big loss.
"The FC Barcelona regrets to communicate the death of the very appreciated Manel Vich, the voice of the Camp Nou during almost 60 years. It rest in peace", it aimed the communiqué of the Barcelona entity, obviously touched after the loss of a myth of the club. By his part, Bartomeu headed to his family in the following terms: "Manel, your voice will accompany us always. It rests in peace".
Manel Vich was absent during the last meeting of the FC Barcelona home, in front of the Sporting of Gijón, finding indispuesto according to the Barcelona club. East was the fourth meeting that lost in the last 60 years, because of reasons of health or familiar. Vich Fulfilled the past twelve March the 78 years of age.
The beginnings of this famous "speaker" trace back to the stadium of Them Corts, in 1956. From here it happened to the recently inaugurated Camp Nou, where was a fixed giving the alignments of the team. The FC Barcelona has decreed three days of duel with reason of his loss. Along all this weekend all the teams of the group blaugrana will save a minute of silence and lucirán a black bracelet in his memory.
