Quique Setién's deep reflection in the prologue of ‘Relats Solidaris’

The sixteenth edition of the 'Relatos Solidarios of the Sport', a work solidaria with charitable ends, is starred this 2020 by Quique Setién, trainer of the FC Barcelona. The santanderino is the protagonist of the cover of the book, as well as author of a prologue in which it does a deep reflection on problems to the margin of the situation that lives in these moments.

"I put me several days in front of the computer treating to write something appropriate for this prologue, but my head only gave to think in the alignment of Mallorca and also for the Naples​. The reflection of Setién goes for the most disadvantaged during this so complicated period. "And now, what goes to suceder? Isolated between four walls, this yes, with internet and Netflix mitigating the dead hours, one asks after the tens of thousands of people (without having of said privileges) that will be going through this and worse things each day in any part of the world, and for those that of those nearer will be his last days", aimed.

"I think that there has not been a moment better in my life to do a deep reflection that this that are living. We know that only we concern us if we feel the pain in own meat or suffer him near, as now. All the other hard very little", continued.

"Still they remain in the world a lot of points of conflict where conserve the life is an utopia in hands of the destination"

The Cantabrian technician did reference to all the victims of other illnesses. "The humanity has gone advancing to a vertiginous rhythm, has progressed more in the last 100 years that in all the previous since we put us of foot. The hope of life increases and also there are fewer people that are hungry thanks to this progress and to the solidarity of people that devote his life to do better the one of the other. But 102 years ago the Spanish flu left 50 million dead persons and every year die other a lot of millions more by illnesses that do not finish to eradicate and other new that appear like this that are suffering", wrote.

Setién Appreciated the invittación to write the prologue, since it stirred up his interests: "This wonderful invitation to form part of this consolidated project solidario arrives in the precise moment, first because it has stirred me up the consciousness from the moment that began to read all the prologues that have preceded me and also because it remembers us what are really and the short time that go to be by here".

Besides, it thinks that what is living has to be a turning point when the world return to the normality. "Still they remain in the world a lot of points of conflict where conserve the life is an utopia in hands of the destination. For when we go back to the street with our daily tasks trust that something have learnt. We do not go to be able to change the world of individual form, but yes can us engage each one to improve what have more near with small gestures that contribute to improve the life of which surround us", followed.

The end of the prologue

Setién Wanted to assume responsibility given his position. "To the football that occupied the greater part of my life and gave me all what have and all what am, always will be him appreciated. I am conscious of the grantings that awarded me the life and the protection that offer me those that surround me, to what can not neither will be able to access million people. From now I assume the responsibility of my public charge like speaker to avoid the crispación and the tensions that us circundan each day and can be a bit happier", ensured.
