It does already some months that died, but Johan Cruyff will not remain in the forget. The historical ex footballer and Dutch trainer has received another recognition in his hometown, Amsterdam, that has devoted him a square that will happen to carry his name
Johan Cruyff left a 24 March 2016 that already remains something far, but his legacy will accompany to the football for ever. In addition to teams like the FC Barcelona or the Ajax that follow defending his style, his name has renamed to the stadium of the blanquirrojos, and now will have another memory in a square of his hometown, Amsterdam.
As it aims 'Sportive World', the square situated in front of the Olympic Stadium, the 'Stadionplein', will happen to call 'Johan Cruyffplein'. The wife of the ex player and Dutch trainer, Danny Cruyff, has appreciated enormously the gesture: "Johan had a lot of relation with the Olympic Stadium and his surroundings. There it played a lot of important parties, with the Ajax and with the Dutch selection".
"Besides, it visited a lot this zone, since the offices of Johan Cruyff Institute and of the Foundation Cruyff still are there. Also we lived in the neighbourhood. We are very happy and grateful that the Stadionplein carry the name of Johan", has signalled after knowing the news.
"It treats of an ideal place for a homage to this Amsterdammer special", commented the representatives of the City council of Amsterdam. From the Barça also added to the initiative, announcing does some months that the new Miniestadi that construira in Sant Joan Despí will have the name of Johan Cruyff.
In addition to several physical homages, Cruyff left a difficult footprint to erase, with a philosophy that follow several groups around the world. In some statements on the style of the Real Betis, Marc Bartra mentioned the influence of Johan in the Barça, doing reference to a legacy that still perdura nowadays.
"Before it arrived Johan Cruyff there was not any philosophy Barça, went from here that it established , went using this system, this philosophy, and afterwards these players that believed it, played it. The important is that once that it does it the first team and the club feels it like this, implant in the inferior categories so that they go up with this idea. The best period of the Barça has been when players of the house have been in the first team", reflexionó the canterano.
