The ex player of the FC Barcelona and now in the rows of the Monaco, Éric Abidal, has remembered in an interview some of the hardest moments of his illness and has appreciated the big support that received of part of his mates and the fans culé

In an interview conceded to the program 'Human to Hero' of the CNN, Éric Abidal has ensured that the grave illness by which had to happen did not go fruit of the casualidad, and has reviewed some of the hardest moments during these last years. "The illness that happened did not go by accident. As I see it I, God puts you challenges", has commented the French defence, adding to continuation that "each one has his own destination. All have a mission in the Earth and mine is to help to the people".

Of parallel form, Abidal has remembered the countless samples of support that received of part of mates, rival and followers of all the teams. "I agree me of everything. Definitely it helped me and it showed that it was appreciated in Catalonia and in the Barça. It motivated me to say him to the people 'although I am ill, do not go to go to rack and ruin me'". Especially, it remembers how one of his best friends, Daniel Alves, offered him part of his liver. "It keeps on being an important person in my life".

For the footballer of the Monaco, one of the key moments in his recovery was when Carles Puyol allowed him raise the Champions League attained in Wembley. "It was a moment special. There are not many of us that can win the Champions and much less have the special opportunity to raise the trophy. Always I go to appreciate to my mates this gesture".
