The International Federation of History and Statistics of the Football (IFFHS) has made public the classification of the best clubs of the world of 2014. This classification takes into account diverse appearances like the victories, the titles achieved or the goals in favour and against. From these data, the IFFHS elaborates every year a ranking with the best clubs of the world. The Barça, that the season happened did not achieve any of the three main titles, has finished in fourth position, just by in front of the Athletic Colombian club National.

The first qualifier, and, therefore, better club of the 2014 has been the Real Madrid,  by in front of the Bayern of Munich and the Athletic of Madrid. Of this ranking fits to stand out the bad classification of big historical clubs like the Milan (159) and the Manchester United (128). However, the Barça keeps on being the team that has been proclaimed better club of the year in more occasions, with four, by in front of the Real Madrid, that has been it in three occasions since it exists this ranking.
