The judge Santiago Pedraz has imposed a bail of 300.000 euros to the ex-president of the Real Spanish Federation of Football Ángel María Villar; of 150.000 euros to his son Gorka and of other 300.000 euros to Juan Padrón to abandon the prison.

The magistrate of the National High Court has adopted this decision in a car when considering that there is not founded risk of escape of any of the three when having practised already the diligences considered urgent in this cause. It understands, besides, that no longer suppose an obstacle for the investigation.

The past 18 July, the Operative Central Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard detained to the president of the RFEF, Ángel María Villar, to his son Gorka, and to the economic vice-president of the Federation, Juan Padrón. This same day, the agents practised several registers in the domiciles of the arrested persons, as well as in the headquarters of the RFEF, located in The Rozas.la investigation of the judge Pedraz began in the year 2016, by means of a complaint of the Upper Council of Sports (CSD).

The judicial instruction determined that Villar, supposedly, would have taken advantage of of his position to organise friendly parties of the Spanish selection of football and earn commissions in profit of the dispatch Sports and Advisers, property of his son Gorka, pleaded specialist in sportive right.

Far investigation

During the three previous months to the arrests, the judge instructor, Santiago Pedraz, in collaboration with the public prosecutors Anticorrupción, Inmaculada Violán and Esther González —that investigate another case in Majadahonda—, took part the communications of Villar and other high charges of the Federation. You listen them telephone, whose transcricpiones find in the car, revealed the bad practical and corruptelas that surrounded to Villar and his environment.
