FC Barcelona dominates the nominations for the LaLiga 2024/25 Awards with four players and Hansi Flick
The LaLiga EA Sports 2024/25 came to an end last Sunday, May 25, when matchday 38 put the finishing touch to a season in which FC Barcelona were proclaimed champions, thus achieving their twenty-eighth league title. The 'Azulgranas' showed a notable superiority throughout the tournament, leaving little doubt about their deserved championship.
Now, as has been customary in recent years, once the season is over, the league launches its LaLiga Awards initiative, which seeks to recognize the most outstanding protagonists of the season in five specific sections:
- Player of the Year
- Coach of the Year
- Under-23 Player of the Year
- Goal of the Year
- Save of the Year
Barcelona dominates in the individual nominations
The Barcelona team has managed to sneak four players into the different categories, some of them nominated in more than one, and also has its coach, Hansi Flick, among the candidates for the best coach of the season.
Player of the Year: category tinged with 'Azulgrana'
The category with the greatest 'Azulgrana' presence is that of Player of the Year, with four players from FC Barcelona nominated:

- Lamine Yamal | 35 GS / 9 G / 15 A
- Robert Lewandowski | 34 GS / 27 G / 2 A
- Pedri González | 37 GS / 4 G / 5 A
They will compete with stellar names from other teams such as:

Under-23 Player of the Year: double 'Culé' presence
In the category of Under-23 Player of the Year, the team from the 'Ciudad Condal' once again has a strong representation with Lamine Yamal and Pedri González as nominees. They will face:

The 'Culé' coach, Hansi Flick (38 MD / 28 W / 4 D / 6 L), has also been nominated for Coach of the Year, after a brilliant season at the helm of the team. He will compete with other outstanding strategists:
