The Blaugrana team will play three friendly matches in Japan and South Korea this preseason between July and August as part of the 2025 Asian Tour
FC Barcelona will return to the Asian continent this summer for the first time since 2019 to carry out its 2025/26 preseason tour. The team led by Hansi Flick will play a friendly in Japan on July 27 and two in South Korea on July 31 and August 4, consolidating its global strategy of expansion and loyalty of fans in Asia.
The tour will include duels against Vissel Kobe, FC Seoul and Daegu FC, in a region where the club has millions of followers and a solid network of sports and commercial alliances. It will be the seventh Asian tour in the history of Barça, reinforcing its link with key markets such as Japan and South Korea.
Barça begins its Asian tour in Japan against Vissel Kobe
FC Barcelona will begin its 2025/26 preseason in Japanese territory on July 27, facing Vissel Kobe at the Noevir Stadium, with a capacity of 30,000 spectators. It will be the third match between both clubs, after the friendlies of 2019 and 2023, both with Blaugrana victories by 0-2.
The culé expedition will depart from Barcelona on July 24 to begin the "Blaugrana Tour, Asia Edition, by Philips Ambilight TV", a campaign that seeks not only to prepare the football season, but also to strengthen the club's positioning in Asia, one of the regions with the greatest economic and passionate projection for European football.

South Korea, next stop: two matches to close the tour
After passing through Japan, FC Barcelona will travel to South Korea, where they will play two matches: the first, on July 31 against FC Seoul at the Seoul World Cup Stadium (66,704 spectators); and the second, on August 4 against Daegu FC at the DGB Daegu Bank Park (68,014 spectators).
Both stadiums were venues for the 2002 World Cup, which gives the matches a symbolic framework of great relevance. This will be the club's third visit to South Korea, after the 2004 and 2010 tours. Expectations are high in a country where Barça has approximately 2.3 million fans.
In addition, the Barça Academy has recently organized campuses in Seoul and Suwon, with more than 250 boys and girls, demonstrating the growing interest in the Blaugrana style of play in the region.
Japan and South Korea: pillars of Barça in Asia
Beyond sports, Barça's relationship with Asia —and in particular with Japan and South Korea— is deep and multifaceted. In Japan, the club has six active Barça Academies, more than 1,500 young people enrolled, and a solid network of supporters clubs and commercial agreements.
With this visit, Barça will reach a total of 19 matches played on Japanese soil, between friendlies and official matches. The link with Japan, beyond the pitch, is reflected in the more than 3.6 million followers that the club has in the country, as well as in strategic agreements with local companies such as Konami.
