Gerard Piqué's Andorra FC could be moving headquarters and changing its name for next season, since the Government of Andorra has made a decision that could hinder the sporting direction of 'Los Tricolores'
Gerard Piqué, exjugador of the FC Barcelona and current president of the Andorra FC, has used his social networks (@3gerardpique) to do some conclusive statements on the club that chairs and the recent controversy in which it has seen wrapped. The government of Andorra has expressed his wish that the team do not play his parties like venue in the Estadi National.
In front of this situation, Alain Cabanes, secretary of State of Sports and Youth of the Andorran government, has declared the following: "We will help to mediate, or to find another place for them so that they can begin the season as it is had to, but will not be in the Estadi National".
This has caused the indignation of 'Geri', the one who has answered to the civil servant with data and a practically threatening tone: "we Have invested more than 4 million euros in adapting l'Estadi National so that LaLiga leave us play and now throw us. Andorra could lose to his historical team
This conflict between the State and 'The Tricolour' has a long history. Sometime it posed the idea to build an own stadium, but so much the costs like the topography of the country did that it was unsustainable. Build an enclosure of the necessary dimensions for a professional cast requires of a space that escasea in the Andorran nation.
To fault to arrive to an agreement, still there is not at all clear-cut. The Andorran football runs the risk to lose to one of his historical teams, with more than 80 years of existence. At present, the Andorra FC finds in the sixteenth position of the table clasificatoria of the Second Division, having contested nine days and accumulating 10 points.
