Already they have confirmed some of the teams that will participate in this new format of the Mundialito of Clubs, like the Real Madrid, Manchester City, Bayern of Munich, Inter of Milan, PSG, Port wine, Benfica and Chelsea. On the other hand, Gianni Infantino, the maximum leader of the FIFA, confirmed that from 2024 will carry out an annual tournament of clubs that will recover the denomination of Intercontinental Glass, similar to the ancient tournament that confronted to the European champion and sudamericano. In this competition will participate the winners of the tournaments of clubs of the main confederations, culminating in a neutral final between the winner of the League of Champions and the victorious of an eliminatory intercontinental between clubs of other confederations.
The Mundialito sacks after 23 years from his creation, with the Real Madrid like the club that more times has won the competition with five trophies, followed of the Barça with three. Now, a new format approximates and in 2025 will know to the first winner of this new trophy, as well as of the Intercontinental Glass.
