Second brace of the preseason! Lamine Yamal destroyed Como's defense

Lamine Yamal continues to demonstrate with every minute on the field why he is, currently, the best footballer in the world. In the Joan Gamper Trophy, the '10' shone again with his second brace of the preseason, destroying Álex Valle in the one-on-one on the flank. In the end, it was a total party for FC Barcelona at the Estadi Johan Cruyff against a totally overwhelmed Calcio Como (5-0).

The Mataró native was close to opening the scoring in the 20th minute, with one of his characteristic curling shots that went just past the post. Fermín López, with a brace, would be in charge of opening the path towards a comfortable Azulgrana rout, the third in a row this summer.

In the 42nd minute, with the score already at 3-0, Lamine would score the first of his personal account taking advantage of a pass from Raphinha. The Brazilian anticipated Van der Brempt and gave the ball to the '10', who only had to push it into the goal.

Como's defense claimed a foul by the '11', but the referee De Burgos Bengoetxea validated the goal, as the steal was clean. Just after the break, already with Ferran Torres in place of Marcus Rashford as '9', Yamal scored his brace, this time with an impeccable first-time finish.

The winger received a pass from the 'Shark' and, without wasting time, unleashed a crossed left-footed shot, impossible for goalkeeper Butez, sealing the partial 5-0. The 18-year-old returned the courtesy to the Valencian a minute later, but the '7' shot wide despite having the entire goal at his disposal.

The same happened to Rashford before the break. The '14' received a great through ball from Lamine and, despite dribbling past goalkeeper Butez, sent his shot into the side of the net with an empty goal. 

Despite this, Lamine has rounded off fantastic records in his first full preseason with Barça. In 4 matches, the Rocafonda native scored 4 goals and 1 assists, being a real nightmare for his rivals on the left flank. In his official debut with the Azulgrana '10' at home, the winger shone again and remains a favorite to win the Ballon d'Or next month.
