The deceitful resignation of Javier Tebas as president of LaLiga

In the middle of all the furor by the Balloon of Gold of Leo Messi, Javier Thebes​ announced his resignation like president of LaLiga. The already ex maximum mandator of the Spanish competition, nevertheless, will not leave as well as like this. His announced left clear that only resigns to summon elections and present again to the charge. The ex president of LaLiga detailed in his communiqué the reasons that have carried him to take this decision. The first, is related with the rights of TV. "We have to try give to the institution the maximum possible stability, LaLiga has the enormous responsibility to manage the active elder of the clubs/sad, that are his audiovisual rights. The period of the current mandate finishes at the beginning of October of 2020 and the contest of national rights of tv for the trienio June 22/25 will be between March and June of 2021. In my opinion, too close up of the electoral process", affirmed.

Another of the reasons by which has resigned is the political situation in Spain, in which still there is not a government formed. "It goes to initiate a new political course, where is possible that pose in our national Parliament and in the European Parliament laws and managerial that affect to our institution. Finally, in the communiqué, the ex president of LaLiga also highlighted the importance of the course of Javier Gómez, ex general director of the competition, to take his decision.
