The distribution for television revenues in LaLiga in the 18/19 season

The distribution of the television rights in Spain is one of the big debates of LaLiga these last years. Real Madrid and FC Barcelona​ always carry good part of the income and the big majority of clubs finishes carrying the crumbs. The fans ask a more egalitarian distribution so that the Spanish competition can compete, for example, with the Premier League. In England the big carry no much more that the smallest teams.

With the 2019 almost finished, LaLiga has had to take out the data of income of all the clubs of First by the rights of television in the season 2018/2019. In total, LaLiga Santander carried 1.420 million euros, 7,1% more than the previous course. In LaLiga SmartBank, the Second, arrived to the 205,9 million euros, 14% more than in the campaign 2017/2018.

As it is used to to be the tonic usual, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid lead the list of the clubs that more money ingresaron by audiovisual rights. The Barça, specifically, is the one who more embolsó with 166 million euros. The culés were those that more improved regarding the past year, since they won 8,11% more. The Real Madrid, by his part, won 155 millions and went up 4,9% regarding does a year.

The Athletic of Madrid is the another team that surpasses the barrier of the 100 'kilos' in LaLiga. The rojiblancos carried 119 millions and won 7,8% more than the past season. The Madrilenian group, although it still is far of Barça and Madrid, wins enough more than the chamber classified of the list. The Seville carried 80,1 'kilos' and improved in 8,2% the won the previous year.

It surprises that Valencia, that is the fifth that more won, have gone up 20% regarding the past campaign. The 'ches' carried 78,7 millions and practically empatan with the Seville. Athletic Club (74,8), Villarreal (74,3), Real Betis (62,3), Real Sociedad (59,1) and RCD Espanyol (58,3) complete the 'top 10' of teams with more television income.

The teams that less won by television rights

Huesca (44,2), Ray Vallecano (47,4), Leganés (47,6) and Valladolid (47,6) are the groups that less money carried this past course by the television. The difference between them and Madrid, Barça or Athletic is tremenda and is the reason by which a lot of people asks another type of distribution.
