The '24' pushed a rebound from goalkeeper Aarón Escandell into the back of the net after a good shot by Ferran Torres inside the area. The '7' received the ball from Ronald Araujo, the intellectual author of the goal after a good breakthrough on the left. Afterwards, Robert Lewandowski and the 'charrúa' himself completed the culé comeback, the second of the season.
Eric García debuts as a scorer in his sixth game as a starter in LaLiga
The player from Martorell remained in Flick's lineup for the sixth consecutive match, this time occupying the right-back position. The coach preferred to give Jules Koundé a rest and, once again, the '24' responded with a very complete match.
During the 90 minutes, Eric completed 70 of 79 passes (89 %), 9 of them in the final third. In addition, he completed 7 defensive actions, with 3 clearances, 2 recoveries and 1 dribble, as well as a couple of duels won and no fouls committed.
Not surprisingly, LaLiga chose him as MVP of the match, while specialized portals (such as 'Fotmob' or 'Sofascore') gave him a score of 8.4 points, the highest among the 22 starting players at the Carlos Tartiere.

Eric García explains his readaptation as a right-back
After the victory against Oviedo, García spoke with 'DAZN' about his readaptation as a right-back and the key to his good form with Barça. "Many times I know where I start, but not where I end. The coach already told me that I had to be prepared for it," said the 24-year-old player.
In addition, he added: "I can adapt quite well. With the quality of my teammates, everything is much easier." Regarding the match, Eric was surprised by the good pressing work done by Oviedo. The 'carbayones' only had 20% possession of the ball, but they made things very difficult for the culés in the first half.
"In the first half we didn't imagine that they would press our ball exit so much. We have been finding the ball and they have just scored that great goal. We have subjected them quite a bit and we have been able to get the three points," explained the player from Martorell.
Finally, Eric García valued the depth of the Barça squad. Against Oviedo, the variants in the second half were decisive to achieve the comeback.
"Marcus' reinforcement has given us a lot up front. The changes change the game today. We start eleven, but there are many changes to make and we are all important," pointed out the '24'. Will the Catalan maintain his starting position against Real Sociedad?.
