Calendar of FC Barcelona

Football Club Barcelona has announced the list of 22 players called up for Sunday's match against Real Madrid. The Barça team plays its sixth away game in LaLiga 2025/26, this time at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium in Madrid.

Regarding the previous matchday in La Liga, Hansi Flick recovers Ferran Torres, who was absent in the Catalan derby due to an overload, but loses Andreas Christensen. The Dane was also absent in the Champions League against Olympiacos due to a viral condition and is ultimately sidelined due to the after-effects of gastroenteritis.

Likewise, Barça's infirmary keeps 7 players in its ranks, once the relapse of Raphinha was confirmed. The Brazilian felt discomfort again in his right thigh after returning to training on Wednesday and will be out for several more weeks. Jules Koundé, absent Thursday and Friday due to a blow, will finally travel to the Clásico.

Barça seeks to reclaim La Liga leadership in the Clásico

Against Real Madrid, Barça will be looking for a victory, their eighth in LaLiga, to allow them to regain the lead. The 'culés', for the moment, are second with 22 points, a couple less than the 'merengues'. The white team has 8 wins in 9 presentations, with a single defeat against Atlético (5-2).

The Azulgrana team, meanwhile, recovered from their defeat in Seville (4-1) with a narrow victory against Girona. Both teams won their Champions League matches during the week, against Olympiacos in the case of Flick's team (6-1) and 1-0 against Juventus for the Madrid side. Xabi Alonso's team comes to the Clásico with 4 consecutive victories, but a full record of defeats against Barça in the 24/25 season.
