The top scorer standings of LaLiga 2025/26 keeps Kylian Mbappé as leader in matchday 10. The French international scored one of the goals for Real Madrid in the victory against FC Barcelona (2-1) and manages to stay at the top of the fight for the Pichichi.

Mbappé Takes a Significant Lead in the Race for the Pichichi

Against Barça, Mbappé took advantage of a through ball from Jude Bellingham to open the scoring. The Frenchman had previously scored a goal preceded by a millimetric offside, warned by the VAR. In the second half, Kylian could have extended the lead for 'Los Merengues', but Szczesny stopped a penalty sanctioned for a handball by Eric García.

In this way, 'Kiki' moves further away in the fight for the Pichichi with a 5-goal advantage over his closest pursuers (Julián Álvarez and Etta Eyong). The Levante forward scored his team's only goal in the draw against Mallorca (1-1), while 'La Araña' will look to close the gap somewhat on Monday when they visit Betis.

Robert Lewandowski, however, missed the Clásico due to injury. Ferran Torres returned to the starting XI after two games out with an overload, but had little participation inside the rival's area in the 74 minutes he was on the field. The Pole could reappear next Sunday, when Barça hosts Elche.
