Barça now has a 7-point lead over Real Madrid at the top of LaLiga. The Catalans reached 43 points thanks to their victory against Osasuna (2-0)

FC Barcelona extended their lead at the top of LaLiga EA Sports 2025/26 in matchday 16. A brace from Raphinha, in the 70th and 85th minutes, settled a complex match for Hansi Flick's side, who extended their winning streak to 7 consecutive victories to pull away at the summit

Now, the blaugrana team (43) has a 7-point lead over Real Madrid (36), who visit Alavés on Sunday (21:00 CEST). Atlético also won on Saturday against Valencia (2-1), but remains far from the lead. The 'colchoneros' have 34 points, 9 less than Barça, and remain behind Villarreal (35)
