Lamine Yamal completed a very discreet match in the Real Madrid-Barcelona (2-1). The player from Mataró was unable to make a difference on the right and was a protagonist at the end due to his statements prior to the Clásico
FC Barcelona fell in their visit to Real Madrid (2-1) on a day to forget for Lamine Yamal. In his third visit to the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, the first with the '10' blaugrana on his back, the Mataró native was very disconnected on the right, completing just a couple of deflected shots during the 90 minutes.
Barça struggled to reach the rival area in the first half, a product of the intense pressure exerted by Real Madrid's midfield. Pedri and Frenkie de Jong found few spaces to give the team a clean exit and, therefore, both Marcus Rashford and Lamine himself spent long periods without getting into the game.
The English side, however, was more involved, taking advantage of the depth provided by Alejandro Balde on the left. Fermín López also had a significant impact playing behind Ferran Torres. On the right, however, Jules Koundé was very busy dealing with Vinicius Jr., so he connected very little with Yamal on the wing.
Lamine Yamal Couldn't Save Barça at the Bernabéu
After the break, Barça controlled possession more, but continued to have problems arriving with danger in the rival area. Fermín had two very clear chances in the second half, but in both instances, he finished poorly, making bad decisions.
Lamine Yamal, on the other hand, gradually lost his shine on the right, well controlled by Álvaro Carreras and a rotating double mark. At times it was Dean Huijsen who lent a hand to the left back. Arda Güler himself also dropped back several times to double the surveillance of the '10', as well as Tchouaméni and Camavinga.
The best from the Mataró native came in the 89th minute, with Real Madrid's defense already conceding spaces as a result of fatigue. The winger threaded an exquisite pass to Koundé, but the Frenchman, one-on-one against Courtois, failed when trying to control the ball to get into position.
The final scuffle had one target: Lamine Yamal

In added time, after Pedri's sending off for a second yellow card, a brawl broke out on the benches that spread to the pitch after the end of the match. Dani Carvajal and Vinicius went after Lamine, throwing the '10's words before the Clásico in his face. "They steal and complain," the Rocafonda native had said during a Kings League event.
Well, this time there was certainly a robbery, considering the number of mistakes by César Soto Grado at the Bernabéu. Unfortunately, the winger was unable to score this time in a stadium where he had scored a couple of consecutive goals. One of them, coincidentally, disallowed by the same referee on Sunday.
