Real Madrid vs. FC Barcelona: The first La Liga Clásico will have an exclusive ball

LaLiga recently presented the exclusive version of the Puma Orbita ball for the first Clásico of the 25/26 season, Real Madrid-Barcelona, to be played on October 26 at the Santiago Bernabéu
The first Clásico of LaLiga EA Sports 2025/26 will have a special ball. The league and the German brand Puma recently presented an exclusive edition of the 'Orbita' ball for the match scheduled for Sunday, October 26 at the Santiago Bernabéu (16:15 CEST).
The ball is much more sober than the one used during the rest of the tournament matches. With a white base and details in black and gold, the ball pays tribute to "the true protagonists of the Clásico: the stars who step on the field", according to the official announcement made by the German brand.

The Clásico will have an exclusive ball for the first time in LaLiga
Puma replaced Nike as the supplier of LaLiga balls in 2019, after 23 years of sponsorship by the American multinational. The German company has also been in charge of designing the balls for the Spanish Second Division (Liga Hypermotion) since 19/20.
This will be the first time that a Liga Clásico has an exclusive ball in the 94 editions of the highest category of Spanish football. Since 2004/05, the only ball change during the season occurs with the start of the winter season (from November to the end of March).

Last season, in the final stretch of the competition (April-May), an orange ball was used, which featured street art elements to highlight urban culture and graffiti. For the 25/26 season, Puma is likely to launch another edition of its 'Orbita' ball for the last two months of the season.
In any case, we will have to see if the Real Madrid-Barcelona ball on October 26 will be used again in the second round Clásico. This match will take place on matchday 35, the second weekend of May at the Spotify Camp Nou, once the Azulgrana team finalizes its expected return to the Estadi.
Barça will also debut a shirt and sponsor in the Bernabéu Clásico
In addition to the new LaLiga ball, Barça will also debut its fourth shirt for the 25/26 season in the first Clásico of the season. As happened in 2020/21, Nike will launch a special shirt for the visit to Real Madrid, with a design that pays tribute to the thrashing of 2005/06, when the Culés thrashed the 'merengues' in Chamartín (0-3) with goals from Eto'o and Ronaldinho (double).

Similarly, the shirt will be a 'jewel' for collectors thanks to Barça's contract with Spotify. Since 2002, the Swedish company has modified its logo on the front for that of a global artist. In October, the chosen one will be the British singer Ed Sheeran, who leaked the logo of his new album, 'Play', on the shirt of the next Spanish Clásico.
Last season, on the visit to the Bernabéu, the Culés wore the logo of the English band Coldplay. In the second round, in Montjuïc, the American rapper Travis Scott was chosen to display his brand on the Azulgrana shirt.
