Thebes: "If they sanction to Barça, Madrid and Athletic something is bad"

In some words pronounced during the Juridical Day on "Protection of minors in the football", organised by the School of Lawyers of Madrid, the president of the League BBVA, Javier Thebes, left clear that exist failures in the rule of the FIFA relative to the politics of signings of lower players of age, since it is not normal that have finish being sanctioned FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and Athleticby the same reason.

"If the FIFA sanctions to the Real Madrid, Athletic and FC Barcelona by a norm that, in theory, protects to the minors is that something is bad. I would want to that my children were in these 'academies'", commented the maximum mandator of the LFP, the one who besides stood out that if the minors can not play to the football by fault of the article 19 is that "something is bad".

"The norm has an origin loable, has something of protection to the lower and something of pressure of the clubs for obtaining a compensation by the rights of training", but is badly formulated, since neither Barça, Real Madrid neither Athletic have carried out exploitation of players. The manager of the Athletic of Madrid, Clemente Villaverde, ensured in this same Juridical Day that the problem is not only in these three big Spanish clubs, but in the rest of teams of the country.

"The subject of the minors is a problem of the Barcelona, the Real Madrid and the Athletic or of the Spanish football? I say that it is a problem of the Spanish football. It is not normal that these clubs have problems. The RFEF has not known to defend to the Spanish clubs, and the normative FIFA in place to favour is limiting the rights of the minors".

In this sense, the legislations of the RFEF and of the FIFA bump in some points. "All the boys are playing with a licence that has given them the RFEF. Or the Federation does not know the legislation or we desconocemos the system. The clubs fulfil to rajatabla the legislation and are in a situation of indefensión in front of the rule of the RFEF", remembered Villaverde. It will be necessary to see if Real Madrid and Athletic finish fulfilling the whole of the sanction FIFA, thing that yes did a FC Barcelona that happened the two last markets without being able to make signings.
