Calendar of FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona runs away again at the top of the LaLiga EA Sports 2024-25 table after a narrow 1-0 victory over Mallorca, the Blaugrana secured all three points thanks to a 46th-minute goal from Dani Olmo, in a match dominated by goalkeeper Leo Román.

Hansi Flick's men took to the field with a new starting XI, but they displayed their usual strong play. In total, they had 40 shots in the match, 13 of them on target, but Román excelled with 12 saves. The only one the Spaniard couldn't stop was Olmo's goal.

Forty seconds into the second half, the Terrassa native received a pass from Eric García on the right. The attacking midfielder controlled the ball inside the box and, despite being surrounded by three opposing defenders, found space to unleash a precise shot that was impossible for Leo.

Atlético de Madrid, meanwhile, remains third with 63 points, 13 points behind the Catalans and six behind Real Madrid. The Colchoneros lost any hope of the title after losing to Las Palmas (1-0).
