Without football until May: The Government prolongs the state of alarm for 2 weeks

Pedro Sánchez, president of the Government of Spain, announced this Saturday to the midday that has decided prorrogar the state of alarm by the pandemia by coronavirus until 26 April. The period of quarantine was programmed until 12 May, but will lengthen , like minimum, two weeks more. The maximum mandator of the Government ensured in an appearance of press that is the best to follow combating the illness.

"So that the hospitals can attend no only to the patients of the coronavirus, but to all the other. Following the recommendations of the experts, announce them that the Council of Ministers of the next Tuesday will request again the permission of the Congress for prorrogar for the second time the state of alarm on 12 April, until the 00.00 of 25 April. We need to keep the measures two weeks more", began saying the president to explain the reasons of his decision.

Sánchez wanted to stand out the importance of this measure and launched a message of spirit to all the citizens. "I comprise the difficult that results. Isolate us in our houses. They put to proof these days our serenity. They are frantic days. Restless by the luck of our friends and familiar. They are the most difficult days of our life. After these weeks that have seemed eternal, have several new certainties, because we go knowing to the opponent", commented.

The president of the Government, besides, announced that the extention of this state of alarm could go further of 26 April. When it go approaching this date, Sánchez could decide do another to follow combating the epidemic according to advance in April. "We go to win to the virus, definitely. The isolation works. The state of alarm do not go to last other 15 days, could last a time more. It will be of the lower possible time", explained.

Without football, like minimum, until May

This will affect to all the citizens of Spain, but also to the football, to the teams and to the players of LaLiga​, that will be, like minimum, until principles of May without at least can train. Being optimists, the Spanish clubs will not be able to go back to the trainings until from 26 April. If this went like this, it is necessary to take into account that the footballers go to need two or three weeks to recover the physical tone in a species of pre-season. In other words until mediated or finals of May, with luck, could not go back to play to football.
