CONMEBOL announced that there was a tie in the election of the Best Player of this edition of the Copa América, between Messi and Neymar
Leo Messi adds a new recognition to the list. Before the final of the Glass America, between Brazil and Argentina, the CONMEBOL announced that his Group of Technical Study designated to the Argentinian and to his fellow and ex mate, Neymar Jr, like the two better players of the tournament, after having been keys, both, so that his selections reached the big final.

Through an official communiqué, the CONMEBOL informed that "the Group of Technical Study (GET) chooses to Lionel Messi and to Neymar like the best players of the Glass America 2021, for showing in each party his different qualities that do them be whole players, with technical and tactical quality, by his intelligence with and without balloon, and his takings of decisions that always are asertivas; they carry them to be the best players of this Glass America. It is not possible to choose a player because this competition has 2 better players".

Recognition to Leo and 'Ney'
In the same writing, the confederation has aimed that his analysis based in the positive impact that have had both footballers in the tournament, by his statistics and influence.
