Between the numerous participants in the Olympic games linked to the FC Barcelona appear the names of two footballers that went out of the Barça Academy: Eric García and Takehiro Tomiyasu, those who will represent to the national selections of Spain and Japan, respectively.

García, before his go through The Masia, already had formed part of the FCBEscola Barcelona during the season 2008-09, whereas Tomiyasu, the one who at present is a member of the Bologna, followed suit in the Barça Academy Fukuoka, situated in his natal country. García already has done his official debut in front of Egypt, whereas the Japanese will be in front of the combined of South Africa.
