Leo Messi ilusiona to the boys of the Hospital Sant Joan of Déu

Lionel Messi is a 'big' of the football, but is it more, to moral and personal level, when it participates in acts like the one of this Thursday. And it is that the Argentinian star of the FC Barcelona has been present in the Hospital Sant Joan of Déu, giving a grata surprise to the boys hospitalizados, chatting with some of them and showing his more human side.

The player of the FC Barcelona has been the big star in the start of the works of the SJD Pediatric Center of Barcelona, the centre oncológico bigger of Europe with capacity to attend to 400 patient boys that is preparing in the Catalan capital.

Like president of the Foundation Barça, Jordi Cardoner has announced the contribution of Leo Messi and the one of Stavros Niarchos Fundation, that has completed the project. Between the Foundation Leo Messi and the Greek have contributed, from the morning of this Thursday, the almost three million euros that were missing to arrive to the 30 presupuestados, since the works had begun with 27,3 millions collected.

Besides, both foundations have engaged to be followed adding supports in the project and also hold responsible that they can arrive the treatments to people of all the world through the delivery of special scholarships.

From the 10 of the morning of this Thursday, some donors and collaborators have built a sculpture with pieces of bequeath in which it could read 'For the brave'. Messi, in this sense, has participated in the act beside Pau and Alicia, two of the ill boys of the hospital, and between them have commissioned to complete the sculpture.

"I am very happy for forming part of this project. I appreciate to all the people that has made possible that it was a reality. Ojalá Can cure to all the boys and combat a so cruel illness like the cancer", has signalled the player of the FC Barcelona, visibly thrilled and bending the head in some occasion, while it saw the video reproduced in the Hospital Sant Joan of Déu.
