Messi leads the list CIES of the best players of 2018

The International Observatory of the Football (CIES), has elaborated the list of the best players of what carry of 2018 through his assessments by positions, in which they appear the ten better players of the year by place and with Lionel Messi leading the list with the best punctuation of all the names that appear, with a 93,7 of assessment.

Leo Messi has been planted in the position of 'extreme', whereas Hugo Lloris (Tottenham) is the best goalkeeper; Kalidou Koulibaly (Naples), the best head office; Mario Rui (Naples), the best side, Toni Kroos (Real Madrid), the best defensive midfield player; Eriksen (Totenham), the best midfield player 'box to box'; and Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid), the best forward.

It surprises that in the list in question do not find Neymar Jr, the one who in spite of his injury with Paris Saint-Germain himself contested several commitments in 2018 with the Parisian group, marking goals and delivering assistances.

We remember that, to mark to the players and value his performances, the CIES has analysed appearances of the game like the rigour, the capacity of recovery, the distribution, the leadership of the players in the game, the creation of played offensive or the shot.

Between the 70 footballers that appear in the quoted ranking, can see to ten players that are a member of the Barcelona (Ter Stegen, Hammered, Jordi Alba, Leo Messi, Coutinho, Paulinho, Luis Suárez, Sergi Roberto, Rakitic and Busquets), four that do it in the Real Madrid, two of the Athletic of Madrid and one of Valencia, 17 in total that play in LaLiga Santander 2017-18.
