Wagué, the great forgotten of Valverde in Barça

Moussa Wagué Arrived to the FC Barcelona​ does two pertinent summers of the Belgian league, after having done a big World-wide in Russia with his selection, the one of Senegal. After a first season in the Barcelona subsidiary in which it left very good flavour of mouth, received index card of the first team to form part of the staff of Ernesto Valverde.

The initial plan was that Wagué was the acting of Nélson Semedo in the demarcation of the right side so that like this Sergi Roberto could advance his position to the centre of the field. However, the African has not had neither an alone minute in what it goes of campaign, not even in front of the plague of injuries in the defence.

Without going more far, in the parties against the Inter of Milan in Champions League and against the Seville in LaLiga Santander, Ernesto Valverde had the drops of Jordi Alba and Junior Firpo in the left, by what bet for repositioning to Semedo to the left-handed lane. Here it opened a door for Wagué, but the technician extremeño preferred to delay the position of Sergi Roberto, forgetting of the Senegalese youngster.

Until the moment, the African only has been summoned thrice (of course, in any of them has played) but has remained out of the list in the others seven. Something that does not leave to call the attention, especially because Valverde was the first in giving him opportunities in the final stretch of the past campaign, when it was player of the filial but finish being headline in some parties of League leaving good feelings.

Something odd seems to be sucediendo with Wagué and no only in the Barça, but also in the Senegalese selection. In the Glass of Africa of this past summer, played the two first parties to title, but finish losing the place and did not go back to be headline in any another occasion. A frankly rare case, especially by the good feelings that gave this footballer when had opportunities.

Wagué, speed and power

Futbolísticamente, Wagué stands out for being a right side with a lot of offensive projection. It is a portento physical, fast and with capacity to convert always in an option of pass for his mates in the band. It showed it in the Senegalese selection, in the filial and even with the first team in the final stretch of the past campaign. Nevertheless, something has to see Valverde in the trainings that does not finish him to convince.
