Barça enables free streaming on YouTube due to problems with Culers Premium

Hundreds of users reported problems this Sunday accessing the Culers Premium platform, the official FC Barcelona channel enabled to watch the three preseason friendlies of the Asian tour. For the match against Vissel Kobe, members, supporters' clubs, and Barça fans reported a crash on the platform before and during the match.

Some failed to complete the registration with their email (members and supporters' clubs), while others never had the code activated after paying for the subscription. The failures, apparently, originated from a server overload, given the large number of users trying to activate their accounts.

Similarly, there were multiple complaints about the image quality, which in many cases looked pixelated and with multiple server crashes. The broadcast of the match was handled by 'DAZN Japan', and even in the Asian country, there were reports of some failures in the first minutes of the charity friendly.

Given the problems with Culers Premium, the club decided to enable free streaming through their official YouTube channel. Thus, the second half could be watched without problems worldwide, with the official narration in Catalan.

How does the Culers Premium pack work to watch Barça's preseason?

In Spain and the rest of the world, the three matches of the Asian tour will be broadcast through Culers Premium Membership, with free access for members, and supporters' clubs on the web and the official app of the club. To do this, they only need to complete the registration with their email.

The rest of the users must acquire their annual membership paying 39.99 euros to enjoy the matches both for the web and for the official app.

In addition, the 2025 preseason of FC Barcelona can also be seen worldwide through the Barça YouTube channel with the Preseason Pack, available from 9.99 euros per month.

For the United States there will be free transmission through DAZN. In other countries of Latin America and Europe it will depend on the local operator, with confirmed transmission for the duels in South Korea against FC Seoul (August 31) and Daegu FC (August 4).
