Barça continues to finalize details for its preseason Asian tour. In addition to the match against Vissel Kobe, what other matches will the 'culés' play?
FC Barcelona will play a friendly match against Vissel Kobe of Japan at the end of July, as part of the preseason that the team led by Hansi Flick will soon carry out on the Asian continent.
Barça's 2025 summer tour will take place from Monday, July 21 to Monday, August 4, two weeks in which the 'Azulgrana' team will physically prepare the squad for the start of the 25/26 season, scheduled for the second weekend of August with the first matchday of LaLiga.
This year, due to the dispute of the Club World Cup, there were no offers to travel to the United States, where the team carried out the bulk of its last three preseasons. The American tours also included three Clásicos against Real Madrid, resulting in Catalan victories (1-0, 3-0 and 2-1).
When and where will the Barcelona-Vissel Kobe preseason match be played?
According to information leaked by the 'Azulgrana' board, the charity friendly against Vissel Kobe will take place on Sunday, July 27 at the Noevir Stadium in Kobe, with a capacity of 30,132 spectators. The match is scheduled for 19:00 local time (12:00 CEST) and will be the second between the two teams, after the friendly in 2022.
On that occasion, still with Andrés Iniesta in the Vissel squad, the team led by Xavi Hernández won 0-2, thanks to goals from Franck Kessié and Eric García. This year, the Japanese team is ninth in its league with 21 points, 13 behind the leader Kashima Antlers (34).
In total, Hansi Flick's team hopes to play a total of four matches on their Asian tour, which should leave around 15 million euros in the 'Azulgrana' coffers. After the match against Kobe, the 'culés' will play two friendlies in South Korea.
