After days of uncertainty, Barça hopes to fly to Japan this Friday to finally start its 2025/26 preseason tour
FC Barcelona will travel to Japan to start its Asian preseason tour 2025/26 next Sunday, July 27. After the great uncertainty generated around this case —in which even the Blaugrana team ruled out going to The Land of the Rising Sun at first due to a "serious contractual breach" by the event promoter—, the matter was resolved after the entry of Rakuten and its support to direct the economic agreement between the parties.
Thus, the Catalan team would have already defined the date and time in which it will undertake its trip to Japanese lands.
It is worth remembering that this expedition was attempted to be carried out this Thursday, once the agreement was clarified and the economic problems were solved, but it could not be specified for logistical reasons. Even, as different sources disclose, the charter plane KE9916 waited at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport waiting for all the necessary procedures to undertake the transoceanic flight to be completed. Specifically, as suggested in Jijantes, it was not possible to coordinate with the charter staff in charge of operating the journey.
The new Barcelona flight plan to Japanese lands
According to the sports newspaper SPORT, it is planned that the Blaugrana club will fly to Japanese lands from El Prat at 11:00 a.m. Previously, the Barcelona expedition is expected to meet at 09:00 a.m. at the Joan Gamper Sports City to have breakfast as a group.
Once the Barça's charter flight takes off, it is predicted that it will land at Kansai International Airport, in Osaka, Japan, at 00:00 a.m. on Saturday (Spanish time). It is important to note that the journey between the Ciudad Condal and the destination point in Japanese lands lasts between 13 and 15 hours.
The Blaugrana club's planning for the Asian tour promises to continue its course
Under this premise, Barcelona will have little room for rest from its arrival in Japan until the dispute of the commitment against Vissel Kobe, scheduled for Sunday, July 27 at 12:00 p.m. (Spanish time). However, subsequently, everything seems to indicate that the planning of the culé preseason tour of Asia will continue its course, according to the original planning, which would be developed more or less as follows:
