In his first press conference like trainer of the Barça, Ernesto Valverde ensured to feel "motivated" in front of the challenge to train to the club and in the first big commitment to start with the season: the Supercopa of Spain.
In relation to this, Valverde has left to glimpse that the pre-season will begin on 12 July: "I Have to finish to look it with my staff and schedule it, but is possible that begin this day for already set us up before turns it".
Begin with all to prepare the Supercopa
The big novelty of this pre-season 2017-18 for the FC Barcelona, and that no longer will go back to repeat to within of several years, is that Ernesto Valverde will be able to have all his players from the first day -without taking into account to the new signings that go arriving to the staff-, to the not having any international competition this summer.
Without World-wide, Eurocopa, Glass America or Olympic games, all the players will be able to work from the first day of pre-season to the orders of the new technical body, included Leo Messi, Neymar and Suárez, those who always were used to to incorporate something later.
After conquering the Glass of the King on 27 May against the Alavés, Valverde will have to prepare the Supercopa of Spain, against the Real Madrid, winner of the League.
