Vinicius would prefer to stay at Real Madrid than leave for Saudi Arabian football. Although the 'Blanco' club does not accept the '7's economic demands to renew
Vinicius Jr. and Real Madrid have not reached an agreement to extend the bond between them. However, what at first seemed to bring the Brazilian closer to Saudi Arabian football will end without effect, since apparently the '7' would be far from leaving the 'Casa Blanca' this summer.
In this sense, Saudi Arabia contemplates a possible incorporation of Vini as the definitive blow to raise the competitive level of its national league and the sports authorities of the country would be willing to make an extraordinary effort to seduce the player and achieve his departure from the Spanish capital.
Although this would be being used by '7' so that Madrid hurry to accept his conditions and reach an agreement to finally end up sealing the renewal, according to recent rumors.
It is worth remembering that last winter market it was speculated that Saudi football was offering him a contract of 1,000 million euros for five seasons to the Brazilian.
Vinicius wants to be among the best paid in Madrid
In this sense, the player would be closer to staying in Madrid than to joining any other team, considering that he still has a contract until 2027. However, to sign his renewal, the player wants his salary to be matched to that of Kylian Mbappé.
The Frenchman would be earning around 20 'kilos' net per year, something to which, for the moment, the 'merengue' team would not want to reach for Vinicius, while the '7' considers that he is a player just as important as the Frenchman and that he deserves it.
Therefore, the Brazilian left winger is asking for about 20 M€ of net euros per season, as he also wants to be among the best paid in the 'los blancos' squad.
However, the main obstacle to accepting the player's requests would be President Florentino Pérez, who considers that, after the poor performance (despite scoring 22 goals and providing 19 assists) of the player in the 2024/25 season, he is not in a good position to make certain demands.
Selling Vinicius next summer, a possibility for Madrid
In this context, taking into account that 'Vini' has a contract for two more seasons with Real Madrid, the player would prefer to continue fulfilling his bond with the 'Casa Blanca' than to leave for Arabia. Although the alleged offer from the Middle East is still tempting.
Despite this, within the white team they are beginning to consider the possibility of selling Vinicius next summer, in case the negotiations for his renewal continue without progress.
Although the club deeply values the Brazilian attacker, it considers the figures he is requesting to be excessive. The board maintains that no player is above the badge.
