Jan Eppink, a Belgian conservative euro-deputy, has announced that will ask to the European Commission that open an investigation on the signing of Gareth Bleat by the Real Madrid. Eppink Thinks that Florentino Pérez effected the traspaso helped by Bankia

As it has ensured to the Agency EFE a member of the cabinet of Jan Eppink, the Belgian euro-deputy would have foreseen to ask to the European Commission that study the conditions in which it made the signing of Gareth Bleat by the Real Madrid, due to the fact that it would think that Florentino Pérez received the economic backrest of Bankia, a public financial entity and rescued with European bottoms.

The vice-president of the group of the conservative and reformist (ECR) of the European parliament criticises that the Real Madrid have effected the signing of the Welsh player "by the record figure of 100 million euros" when "it accumulates a debt of almost 600 millions, funded largely by Caja Madrid", an entity that now is integrated in Bankia. "Bankia Has been recently rescued by means of the European Mechanism of Stability (MEDE) by no less than 18.000 millions, and now offers his support to this transaction made by the Real Madrid", continues Eppink in a draft of the letter that has foreseen to send to the CE.

"The European bottoms can not be employed for these unsustainable practices", adds. The Real Madrid, besides, is being investigated also by a real-estate operation with the City council and the CE analyses also an intervention of the Valencian Community in favour of three clubs of the region that find in economic difficulties.
