Rubiales, against the signings out of term Braithwaite style

In the market of signings of winter, the FC Barcelona descartó fichar to a forward to substitute to the lesionado Luis Suárez. In fact, the FIFA would have recommended in 2016 suppress this rule, agreeing the Federation, although with the opposition of LaLiga.

After participating in a meeting in the CSD (Upper Council of Sports), Rubiales explained his posture about the subject. "In 2016 the RFEF asked to the CSD suppress this norm, and if it follows still valid is because LaLiga opuso. We go to go back to present a modification of this regulation so that it disappear this exception", manifested.

By the moment, said norm, that only is active in the Spanish championships, will be still in operation until it do not approve his definite suppression. In case to finish suppressing, the clubs will not be able to fichar players out of term neither inscribe to which are free agents once close the periods estivales and wintry that yes allow to reinforce.

Braithwaite, the elected

The FC Barcelona studied time trial the signing of a forward to reinforce his staff​ in winter.
