Barça could officially debut their 2025/26 fourth kit in the Spanish Super Cup. The kit went on sale last November 19th and pays homage to the 2005 Clásico at the Bernabéu (0-3)

The 2026 Spanish Super Cup could allow FC Barcelona to officially debut their fourth kit for the 2025/26 season. The kit features a novel design, with blue and garnet zig-zag stripes that recall the three goals scored by Samuel Eto'o and Ronaldinho Gaúcho in November 2005 in the victory against Real Madrid (0-3).

The jersey was launched on November 19, the date of the twentieth anniversary of the mythical victory at the Santiago Bernabéu, and while it is available in the Barça online store, it has not yet been used by Hansi Flick's team in official matches

In this regard, the Spanish Super Cup could serve as a stage to showcase an outfit that includes crimson red shorts and blue socks. The last time the Catalan team wore red shorts in the tournament was in the 2023 semifinal, against Betis (a Catalan victory on penalties), a tournament that Barça ended up winning in Arabia (1-3 the final against Real Madrid)

Barça will be the home team in the 2026 Spanish Super Cup

Unlike the previous edition, in 2026 Barça will be the home team in both the semifinals and a hypothetical final of the Spanish Super Cup. The Catalan club arrives as the defending champion of the tournament, LaLiga, and the Copa del Rey, marking the first time this has happened since the competition has been played with four teams, including semifinals and a final.

Hansi Flick's team will face Athletic Club in Jeddah on Wednesday, January 7 (21:00 CET), which is the tentative date for the debut of the fourth kit for the 25/26 season. In principle, this is a special kit for El Clásico, but everything points to the Catalans taking advantage of the tournament to show off the new jersey.

If Barça defeats Athletic and Real Madrid does the same in the other semifinal against Atlético (Thursday 8), there will be a Clásico in the decisive match for the fourth consecutive season. The Catalans won in 2023 and 2025, while in 2024 there was a 'merengue' victory.

In any case, whether against Real or Atlético, Barcelona could wear their preferred jersey in the final after defeating Athletic. In 2024, Flick's team were visitors against the 'lions' in the 'semis' victory (0-2), a match where the team used their third kit for 24/25, which is green

How Barcelona Has Distributed Jersey Usage in 25/26

This same kit was used for the first two LaLiga 25/26 matches, against **Mallorca** (0-3) and **Levante** (2-3) due to the league's 'kit selector' mandate. The Catalans only debuted their second official jersey for the current season in matchday 6 of the league, against **Oviedo** (1-3).

The third kit, orange in color, was used against Sevilla (4-1) and Betis (3-5), in addition to the Copa debut against Guadalajara (0-2). This same jersey was chosen in the Champions League for the away games against Newcastle (1-2) and Bruges (3-3), while the 'Black Mamba' collection jersey was only used in the defeat against Chelsea (3-0).

The fourth jersey, for its part, can also be used in any of the three competitions, mainly for home games. Surely, this will be the kit used for the Clásico of the second half of the league at Camp Nou, on the second weekend of May.
