Barcelona remains attentive to Premier League interest in Trincão: How much could they earn?

FC Barcelona is keeping a close eye on Francisco Trincão's present at Sporting Club de Portugal. And how could they not? The 25-year-old Portuguese right winger is having an outstanding season with the 'Lions', totaling nine goals and 18 assists in all competitions. His performances have sparked the interest of several major European clubs, which could make him the star of a multi-million dollar transfer in the upcoming market.

If a negotiation for the player from Viana do Castelo materializes this summer, FC Barcelona would obtain a great economic benefit. When the 'Azulgrana' club transferred Trincão to Sporting CP in 2023 (7 M€), they reserved 50% of the value of a future sale. Therefore, a high-value transfer would translate into a considerable financial injection for the 'Culés' coffers.

According to information from the Portuguese newspaper 'Record', the Portuguese forward has become the object of interest from several Premier League clubs. Up to three teams would be willing to present offers for the player, whose release clause amounts to approximately 80 M€. If an operation were to occur for that amount, Barcelona would receive around 40 'kilos' thanks to the percentage of sale previously reserved.

Among the interested teams, the one gaining the most strength is Arsenal, which, although it has not stipulated a specific figure for the transfer, would be willing to offer an annual salary of 3 million euros net, double what he currently receives at Sporting CP (approximately 2 M€).

Despite the interest of the 'Gunners' in Trincão, the 'Lions' do not easily contemplate the departure of one of its great stars, who also has a contract until 2027.
