The signing of Roony Bardghji by FC Barcelona is close to being a reality. The Swedish international, as stated by journalist Fabrizio Romano, has already completed the respective medical evaluations and it is expected that the agreement will be made official during the week, in order for the right winger to join the dynamics of the culé team as soon as possible and travel to the Asian preseason tour of the Barcelona team.
With the incorporation of Bardghji, nicknamed 'the Swedish Messi', the team from the Condal City would be securing the services of one of the most promising young players of the moment. A jewel sought after by clubs such as Porto and that will cost Barça an economically affordable price: just about two million euros plus variables.
Copenhagen will keep a percentage for Bardghji
However, beyond the attractive transfer price that FC Barcelona has managed to get for a player whose market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €7.5M, apparently Copenhagen —the club of origin of the Swedish right winger— would have secured a way to get a future profit for Bardghji.
As disclosed through Danish media, the 'Lions' would have secured 15% of a future transfer made by the Blaugrana team for Roony. A point that, added to the player's desire to wear the culé jersey, would have been key for the offer of the current champion of LaLiga EA Sports to prosper and prevail over other clubs, with perhaps more lucrative proposals for the Danes.
On the other hand, the Scandinavian club also had some urgency in 'scratching' a benefit for the Swedish striker, who ends his contract on December 31 and apparently was not willing to renew it.
Will Bardghji stay at Barça or will he go out on loan after his signing?
