Dani Olmo is one of the players Barça could cash in on in 2026. The Terrassa-born player has lost prominence in Hansi Flick's lineup, and Bayern Munich would try to bring him back to the Bundesliga
Bayern Munich has Dani Olmo back on its radar. The Bavarian club tried to sign him in 2024 from RB Leipzig, but FC Barcelona convinced the player to return home after a decade abroad. In 2026, the scenario could be very different for defining the future of the Terrassa-born player
The latest information about the Barcelona '20' brings him closer to a Bayern that has had a brilliant start to the season. Vincent Kompany's team won their first 16 matches across league, cup, and Champions League, only drawing their first commitment last Saturday against Union Berlin (2-2).
Jamal Musiala's injury, however, has left the Bavarian team without a natural attacking midfielder, and Olmo would be one of the alternatives most highly valued by the board and the coaching staff.
How much would Bayern Munich offer for Dani Olmo?
Understanding that Dani is under contract until 2030 and, beyond his injury history, is still a young footballer (he is 27 years old), from Germany they value the Terrassa native at **70-75 million euros**. A reasonable amount, as his current value on 'Transfermarkt' is 60 'kilos'
Barça paid €55 million net to Leipzig for his transfer in 2024, making it the club's most expensive signing in the last three years. In fact, during Joan Laporta's second term, only Raphinha (€58 million) involved a greater expense for the Catalan club's finances.
In that regard, an offer in the region of 70 million will clearly interest the Blaugrana club, **provided the player gives the green light to a negotiation**. Olmo, for now, feels comfortable at Can Barça and has the backing and trust of Hansi Flick.
The attacking midfielder, however, knows he must work hard to regain his starting position, as Fermín López has taken his place this season. The competition between the player from Huelva and the Catalan has yielded excellent results for the coaching staff over the past year and a half, with the '20' being the one who had the most prominence last season.
Olmo's Future at Barcelona, For Now, Is Not in Doubt

Beyond the rumors from Bayern and other clubs, Dani Olmo, for now, is by no means on Barça's transfer list. Hansi Flick is satisfied with the squad and, assuming no reinforcements will arrive in winter, thinking about departures at this stage is absurd.
Even more so considering the number of injuries the team has suffered in the first three months of the season. The management tried to keep a squad with at least two reliable players for each position, but absences due to muscle problems have greatly complicated the management of playing time so far.
Olmo has accumulated 711 minutes of action in 13 matches (6 as a starter), having missed 3 games due to a right calf injury. His offensive contribution is summarized as one goal and a couple of assists, while in the 24/25 season he scored 12 goals and provided 7 assists in 39 appearances.
