Bayern doesn't convince Fermín López: the player's priority is to succeed at Barça
Once again, the name of Fermín López is back in the market spotlight for FC Barcelona. The player from Huelva has been strongly linked to Chelsea, a team that even considered the option of including him in an exchange for Christopher Nkunku.
However, this proposal doesn't seem to spark much interest in the Barcelona team, which is fully aware that it has a true gem for the present and future in the talented attacking midfielder.

Now, the club that has apparently shown interest in acquiring the services of Fermín is none other than Bayern Munich. According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the Bavarian team made an exploratory approach to learn about the player's situation at Barça and assess his willingness to change scenery this summer.

However, as the same source indicates, López would not have valued the proposal, reaffirming his commitment to continue wearing the Barcelona shirt. The '16' has a current contract until June 30, 2029, and although he is not yet an undisputed starter, he is considered an important piece within Hansi Flick's sports project.
The German coach has positively valued his dedication and performance, frequently using him to refresh the midfield area, as demonstrated by his statistics during the 2024/25 season:

For now, Bayern Munich joins the list of major European teams knocking on Fermín López's door. FC Barcelona has no intention of negotiating his departure, and any team interested in signing him must refer to his termination clause, which amounts to €500M. An operation that, in addition, would require the approval of Fermín himself, who, for now, does not seem willing to leave the club of his life.
