Benjamin Šeško, on the verge of the Premier League: double offer and a decision in the air

One of the big moves projected for this summer transfer market 2025/26 is the possible departure of the imposing Slovenian striker Benjamin Šeško, 22 years old, currently in the ranks of RB Leipzig, a team with which he has a contract until June 30, 2029. However, everything indicates that he is already in talks with several entities interested in hiring him during this summer window.

In this context, one of the main candidates to acquire the services of the killer is Manchester United. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Red Devils have already submitted an offer of €85M (including variables) to RB Leipzig for the relentless goalscorer born in Radeče.

This proposal would have arisen as a reaction to the strong interest of Newcastle United, a team that is also looking to close the incorporation of the striker and would be willing to disburse €90M (€80M fixed plus €10M in variables) to complete the operation. It would be a significant addition to a team that is also pending on the future of Alexander Isak, their star striker, whose destiny could also be defined in this market.

Despite the fact that RB Leipzig, as Romano mentions, already has both proposals on the table, the final decision rests exclusively with Šeško, who - according to reports - is still not clear on what his next step will be. However, the Slovenian attacker would be more inclined to join the Old Trafford squad this summer.

In turn, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg, it is understood that Benjamin Šeško and his entourage have already reached complete verbal agreements with both Manchester United and Newcastle to sign a long-term contract.

Now, it remains to be seen how the future of Šeško is resolved, whose destiny is not yet defined. What does seem evident is that the Slovenian will land in the Premier League, a tournament that continues to demonstrate its enormous economic muscle when it comes to incorporating elite strikers.
