DANGER: The agreement that could move away to Lautaro of the Barça

Diego Pablo Simeone has arrived to an agreement with the Athletic of Madrid to continue heading to the rojiblancos until the summer of 2024. The previous bond had like date of expiration on 30 June 2022. Of this way, the Cholo will follow tied to the Madrilenian team, although it has done a particular request.

In spite of the difficulties for all the clubs in matter of signings, Simeone is conscious that it is necessary to renew to the team in all the lines, by means of traspasos or by the road of cessions. Regarding the forwards, the Argentinian has asked the incorporation of Lautaro Martínez.

It treats of a significant risk for the colchoneros, that would be had to disburse some 70 million euros, the quantity that the Inter of Milan would demand by the traspaso of the player. Of this way, the Cholo will have of a greater depth in the bench.

There have not been problems to concretise the agreement: Simeone has not been called by other clubs, whereas the directive of the Athletic neither has in his plans a change of technician, included in spite of the criticisms to the Argentinian that could do think in his exit of the team.

The colchoneros also see considerably benefited with the extension signed by the Argentinian, the one who has kept them in the fight by titles, snatching some Leagues to the Barça and to the Madrid, that nowadays do not go through his best moment. For the moment, the Atleti follows trusting the Cholo.
