Barça would be awaiting the possible sale of Ez Abde to Como, with a positive economic income but less than initially expected
Ez Abde could change teams in this 2025/26 transfer market and, from FC Barcelona, they are already attentive to an operation that would leave them an important economic 'pinch'. Recently, it has been reported that the Moroccan left winger is of interest to Como 1907 of Cesc Fàbregas, a team that would be willing to make a significant investment to incorporate him into its ranks.
According to journalist Nicolò Schira, the 'Larianos' have already reached an agreement with the forward to seal his signing until 2030. However, the Italian team still needs to reach an understanding with Real Betis to determine the price of the transfer, which could close between 18 and 20 M€.
Barcelona would receive a percentage, although less than expected
Under that premise, the Catalan team could receive between 3.6 and 4 'kilos' for the sale of Ez Abde to Como, in case the operation closes within that economic range. This is because the 'culés' retain 20% of the benefits of a future sale of their youth player. This percentage, it is worth remembering, is much lower than what the 'culé' team had initially secured for the forward.
And it is that when Barça transferred the one from Beni Melal in the 2023/24 season, the agreement included 50% of a future sale and a repurchase option for a value of 25 M€. However, that percentage was reduced to 20%, when the Barcelona club had to cede the remaining 30% as compensation to Betis for breaking the loan agreement of Vitor Roque in a window in which the market was already closed.
Betis will make money with a round operation
With this in mind, the Andalusian team currently has 80% of the rights to the player, which would allow them to receive between 14.4 and 16 million euros. It would be a real bargain for the 'verdiblancos', who at the time invested a total of 7.5 'kilos' for an Ez Abde that has revalued after a great 2024/25 season.
The Moroccan winger accumulated nine goals and five assists in 49 matches, numbers that have served as a springboard for what everything points to be his first experience outside of Spain at club level.
