THE CLUB SEES ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO REINFORCE ITSELF
Barça's salary margin, the main obstacle to signing

With one week to go before the winter market closes, the outlook is quite discouraging for FC Barcelona. The club's low salary margin makes it almost impossible to sign a reinforcement in January, despite the departures of Gerard Piqué and Memphis Depay
LaLiga Follows without giving his arm to twist with the 'fair play' financial and the directive of the FC Barcelona seems resignarse to the idea of not being able to fichar reinforcements in the wintry market. In principle, it expected that the patronal gave sufficient margin salarial to the club to add some player after the exits of Gerard Hammered (retreat) and Memphis Depay (Athletic of Madrid), but the reality has been very different.
After the activation of the 'crowbars' in summer, the Boat happened to have a limit salarial of -144 million euros in June to one positive of 656 million euros for the season 2022/23. However, the early elimination of the UEFA Champions League and other unforeseen carried to the club to register, again, a negative limit in December of -35 'kilos', as it notified the patronal.
The wages of the reinforcements arrived in summer and the 26 million euros that the institution lost by to remain out of the Champions went back to darken the panorama, still when the retreat of Hammered allowed to free 5 million his wage, while the traspaso of Depay closed in €3m, in addition to doing without the 4.6 'kilos' corresponding to his index card. Besides, with the mudanza to Montjuïc in summer, the things do not paint at all well for the 2023/24, as the club ingresará much less by taquilla.
In this sense, Joan Laporta expects to reduce the budget culé corresponding to the filial (Barça Athletic, Femení and the Club of Basketball) to 100 million euros for the next season, 8 'kilos' less than the mount current. The reduction of costs has to be generalised, by which find options 'low cost' for the first team in this window of passes is practically impossible.
Sell players, the only alternative
For LaLiga, the only form in which the Barça could expand his margin salarial would be concretising one or two sales this week, something that neither the directive neither the technical body see like solution. Players like Franck Kessié or Eric García were considered like transferibles by a sector of the Catalan press, but Xavi Hernández has left clear that the club is not in this moment in conditions to lose more players.
The fault of available variants in the market is the main reason not to want to sell in this moment. The possibilities of a barter with the Athletic of Madrid with Depay by Yannick Ferreira Carrasco and another with the Inter with Kessié by Marcelo Brozovic have banished with the happen of the days, together with the option to recover to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Like this, the Barça will have to resolve with what has for the rest of the 2022/23. In summer, the history will be different.
