FC Barcelona slams the door on Girona for Marc Casadó

Girona has shown interest in the loan of Marc Casadó and would have even contacted FC Barcelona to reach an agreement for a loan without a mandatory purchase option, according to 'RAC1'.

Barça, however, has been forceful and has given a resounding "no" to the Girona team. Recently, there was information about Hansi Flick's statements regarding the rumors of the youth player leaving, stating: “I am happy with him and the rest of the players. I want to keep them all,” he said at the press conference prior to the visit to Levante.

Marc Casadó, a highly sought-after player in Europe

According to various media, Marc Casadó also has proposals from France, England and other teams in LaLiga, with Olympique de Marseille being the last to join in to acquire the services of the pivot. 

In fact, the French would have proposed a swap for Adrien Rabiot, a midfielder who was previously in Barcelona's sights and who has been sidelined from the team due to problems with coach Roberto De Zerbi. The Catalans, however, are not willing to accept this offer, while the 21-year-old player is not planning to leave the club this year either.
