Liverpool could close the summer market with an investment of more than 400 million euros if they manage to incorporate Alexander Isak
As expected, the Premier League came out with everything in the transfer market in search of eternal glory. And the protagonist of the English league in the 2024/25 season continues to wreak havoc with its incorporations.
Thus, Liverpool (champion of the past season) has made a series of signings that, once again, demonstrates its economic power, with nothing to envy from the biggest powers in European football such as FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.
And it is that these are stellar players, those who grab headlines and, with just over a week to go before the close of the transfer window, they want to make at least one more signing that would double what they have already spent.
If Alexander Isak arrives, Liverpool closes a wild summer market
In this context, the Anfield Road team would like to close the incorporation window with center forward Alexander Isak, while Newcastle United tries to oppose his departure.
The '14' of 'the magpies', through a statement, stated that he will no longer play with the team, while he pointed out that a series of promises that were made to him were not fulfilled.
Likewise, 'the reds' would be willing to present an offer of 150 million euros in the next few hours for the furrow so that Newcastle cannot give a negative response.
However, Liverpool would be waiting for the right moment to make their move, since the player and the English entity are going through the worst moment of their relationship after his arrival in August 2022 in exchange for 70 'kilos', coming from Real Sociedad.
The incredible figure that Liverpool has spent during the market
Liverpool, so far, closed the incorporations of Florian Wirtz (125 million fixed euros), in addition to Hugo Ekitike (95 'kilos'), Milos Kerkez (46.90 M€), Jemerie Frimpong (40 M€), Geovanni Leoni (31 million) and Ármin Pésci (1.78 'kilos').
In this way, the Merseyside team faces a new season, that is, with 339.68 million invested, to which could be added the 150 of Alexander Isak, if 'the magpies' accept the supposed offer that Liverpool will present. It should be noted that the team that is closest in money spent is Chelsea, with 279.65 'kilos'.
The 'reds' team could close the summer market with 489.68 million spent. A total fortune invested, in principle, to compete for all possible titles, starting with the revalidation of the Premier League.
Of course, Liverpool will have to have a more prominent role in the UEFA Champions League, since in the past season they fell in the round of 16 against Paris Saint-Germain in the penalty shootout.
