The Spanish attacker that so much sounded during the last months to reinforce the forward of the FC Barcelona of face to the next season, Nolito, has conceded an interview to "The Guardian" in which it has explained, between other things, why chose the signing by the Manchester City of Pep Guardiola, the one who bet firmly by him during the UEFA Euro 2016.
Nolito Was trained by Guardiola in the first team of the FC Barcelona in the season 2010-11, and saved a big memory of this season, in which the technician of Santpedor gave him munutos in spite of not to concede him the titularity. Now, the one of Sanlúcar de Barrameda already is new player of the group "citizen" in return of 17 million euros.
"I amused me a lot working with him, although it was not long. Pep Guardiola is one of the reasons, but is not the only", affirms Nolito. The Andalusian was conscious that if fichaba by the Barcelona would finish being relegado to the bench, whereas in the Manchester City will have the opportunity to play a lot of minutes in the flank of attack.
"It is something that spoke with my family and my manager. I think that it has been the best decision of my career. Also the big team that has built the Manchester City, the project, the motivation to help them to achieve big things convinced me", adds.
Anyway, Nolito is happy by that the Barça interested by his services, although finally the contacts between both parts did not finish fructificando. "I seat me lucky to having played there, wish him the best and very proud of the interest of the club".
