The FC Barcelona board has already covered two of the field positions marked as a priority for the summer market: the arc and the left wing. With the signings of Joan García and Marcus Rashford, Hansi Flick adds a couple of 'top' reinforcements to the culé squad, but the market is not yet closed for the club.

And is that one or two more signings may still arrive, although for the moment it is not clear what positions the coaching staff will consider necessary to protect with new additions. Much will depend on the number of players who leave in the coming weeks.

After Pablo Torre, the next names on the starting ramp are Pau Víctor and Iñaki Peña. They may be joined by Andreas Christensen and Marc-André ter Stegen, in addition to Héctor Fort and Gerard Martín.

If these last two decide to leave, it is likely that Barça will go for a left and/or right back in the coming weeks. At the beginning of the year Jonathan Tah also sounded for the center of the defense, but a reinforcement in this position will only be viable if, in addition to Christensen, Eric García also ends up leaving.

In attack, the club plans to go for a '9' in the medium term, but for now the position is well covered with Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres. Where there will certainly be no additions is in the midfield. With the return of Marc Bernal, there are six midfielders available in the squad, waiting to close the renewal of Frenkie de Jong.
