Raphinha denies rumors of his departure from Barça for Arabia

The millions from the Arab league, for now, are not convincing Raphinha to leave FC Barcelona. In recent days, various reports have linked the 28-year-old forward with Saudi football, pointing to the summer of 2026 as a possible departure date for the Blaugrana's number 11, who last June extended his contract with Barça until 2028.

Although the Brazilian is not usually viral on social media, on Sunday he wanted to put an end to the rumors about his possible move to Saudi Arabia next summer. Rapha commented on a post by a well-known Spanish 'TikToker' that referred to information supposedly leaked by the newspaper 'SPORT'.

"I don't know where they get so much nonsense from, honestly," the Barça forward commented on the Instagram post. The rumor spread by the influencer claimed that Raphinha had a verbal agreement with the club to facilitate his departure to Arabia next summer, provided a millionaire offer reached the Catalan club's offices.

Raphinha Only Thinks About Making History with Barça

Beyond Saudi football's interest, the Brazilian international, for now, has no intention of listening to offers from other clubs. Rapha has two more seasons on his contract and his goal, in addition to helping the team continue winning titles, is to become a Barça legend.

Since his arrival in 2022, the winger has scored 58 goals and provided 51 assists in 155 games for Barcelona. After two inconsistent seasons under Xavi Hernández, the '11' significantly improved his level with Hansi Flick on the bench. In 24/25, only Mohamed Salah was able to match his records in Europe (34 goals and 23 assists).

In this regard, Raphinha has taken a step forward as one of the most lethal forwards in the world, in addition to solidifying his role as captain and team leader. The coaching staff and the locker room consider him a key figure, as does the Barça fanbase. Therefore, his medium and long-term future, for the moment, is not in doubt at Can Barça.

Barça's Stance on Raphinha's Future

Likewise, the Barça board, while understanding that Raphinha is one of the players on the squad with the best market options, does not intend to compromise the future of one of its highest-performing stars on the field.

Barça would only listen to offers for Rapha if the player asks to leave, a scenario that is currently unlikely. The winger has always expressed his love for the club, a commitment he ratifies on and off the pitch.

In 2022, the Brazilian international could well have negotiated a much higher contract with Chelsea. However, he always insisted to his then-agent, Deco, to do everything possible to bring him to the Blaugrana team.

Finally, the Catalans secured his signing for 55 million, a great success for the then-Culé sporting director, Mateu Alemany, and Joan Laporta. With Deco in charge of squad planning alongside Flick and the president, Raphinha feels fully supported by the club and only thinks about helping the team win everything in the coming years
